The North Penn School District (NPSD) is now accepting applications for the Knights of Honor.

During the 2015-2016 school year as part of the North Penn School District’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, the district introduced the Knights of Honor Program. The purpose of this program is to recognize individuals who have made a significant contribution to the school district, community, and/or their chosen career, and therefore bring great honor to the NPSD community. The program is designed to recognize notable North Penn community members, former staff members, and alumni who have brought honor and outstanding service to the district. The goal is to pay tribute to these important people and their contributions and to inspire others to follow in their footsteps.

The most recent Knights of Honor inductees include:

  • Joel Brown, NPHS Class of 1997, news anchor for ABC Eyewitness News

  • Donald “Doc” Ryan, NPHS Class of 1958, former Athletic Director at NPHS

  • Bonnie & Ted Knauss, community members, President and Secretary of the North Penn International Friendship Committee

  • Francis Jeyaraj, M.D., community member, Physician

The NPSD is now in search of the Class of 2024 Knights of Honor. For information, guidelines, and nomination applications, please visit the Knights of Honor website. Nominations are due by October 31, 2023. The ceremony will take place on March 7, 2023.
