Since 1968, the NPSD Community Education Program (CEP) has offered a variety of learning and recreational experiences for people of all ages during its fall, winter and spring terms.
Course catalogs are distributed by mail in August and February.

Gold Card Program - NPSD Residents Age 60 or Better
Any North Penn School District resident age 60 or better is eligible to be a member of the GOLD CARD CLUB. The GOLD CARD CLUB card is nontransferable. Use your GOLD CARD to enjoy:

free admission to musical, dramatic and athletic events sponsored by the school district.

discounted classes and recreational activities through the Community Education and the Community Aquatic programs

one GOLD CARD CLUB free or discounted class each term (fall, winter and spring).
Special activities for GOLD CARD members are announced throughout the year. A GOLD CARD admits cardholders to most NPSD sponsored programs free of charge. There is no guarantee, however, that a community organization utilizing an NPSD facility will honor the GOLD CARD. Please follow the below procedures for easier access to NPSD events and signing up for courses:

Use your GOLD CARD as your pass to NPSD athletic events (home games only).

Present your GOLD CARD to the NPSD school office for a ticket PRIOR to any performances where the sale of tickets is limited by seating capacity.

Present your GOLD CARD at registration for enrollment in a Community Education Program or membership in the Community Aquatic Program. Some courses have
limited enrollment and reach capacity quickly.
PLEASE NOTE: Online registration of programs using your Gold Card is not available. Please mail or drop off your registration form with payment.

Announcements about school district events are announced online and on NPTV Verizon-FIOS TV channel 29 and NPTV Comcast Cable channel 28.
NPSD officials believe that public school facilities should be used extensively by the citizens who pay for them. Support for the community school demonstrates that school directors and administrators are committed to the community use of school facilities.
