K-12 New Student Registration Information and Required Documents

The online application process takes about 30 minutes to complete and should be done in a single session if possible. Please note: once you enter your first and last name, birth date, email and system code, a 4-digit application number will appear on your screen. It is important to keep this application number in the event you need to go back to the application to make changes. The system will prompt you for this 4-digit application number.

Documents must be saved as a PDF or JPEG file. If for your document does not upload, please try reducing the size of the document and then upload the file again.

There are three documents that must be uploaded to the online application in order for the registration to be processed. If any of the following three documents are not uploaded to the online application, the application will be unsubmitted and the district registrar will contact the parent/guardian and advise the next steps to resubmit the online application for processing.

  • Proof of Child's Age

(one of the following birth certificate, hospital certificate, baptismal certificate, passport)

  • Proof of Residency

(one of the following: current utility bill within the previous 60 days - electric, gas, water, sewer, trash; mortgage statement; current real estate tax bill; closing paperwork/agreement of sale; lease agreement)

If neither parents'/guardians' names appear on the Proof of Residency document, or you and your family are living with someone else, at their residence, then a Multiple Occupancy form needs to be completed and uploaded to the application in addition to the three required documents.

Multiple Occupancy for New Registrants

If the parent/guardian who is registering a child for the North Penn School District does not have a Proof of Residency document - a utility bill, mortgage payment/statement, real estate tax bill or signed lease - in their name reflecting the address of the North Penn residence where they are living, the Multiple Occupancy form must be completed, signed and notarized. Along with that completed Multiple Occupancy form, one of the Proof of Residency documents, as listed above, is required that reflects the resident's address noted on the completed Multiple Occupancy form.
