The office of school/community engagement provides certain district sponsored programs to the community at large. To that end, Christine Liberaski, the director of school and community engagement, administers several different programs. Family and Community Involvement
North Penn School District is committed to developing strong partnerships with all stakeholders including families, staff, community members and business leaders in order to improve and enhance student achievement. District leaders recognize, respect and encourage all participants to become involved in activities and decisions made for and on behalf of our students. The Office of School and Community Engagement will assist in promoting this philosophy of collaborative partnerships where engagement and shared responsibility are encouraged. Acting as the District's Voice
In many ways, the school/community engagement office is the district's voice to the media, the community and the world. Whether it's communicating with the local media about our wonderful schools, students and teachers, or disseminating information in the event of an emergency, the school/community engagement office keeps the community informed.
Communications and News
The school/community engagement office is the media's first point of contact. In addition to responding to press requests, the office also writes and distributes press releases and news articles promoting the excellent education the district provides, special events and accomplishments of our students and staff.
The office also creates several publications to disseminate information to district residents and parents. This includes the district activities calendar, annual report, back-to-school newsletters, curriculum guides, program of studies booklets and much more.

North Penn Television (NPTV)
Broadcasting on local Comcast Xfinity channel 28 and Verizon FIOS channel 29, northpennnews.org and YouTube, NPTV serves the residents of the NPSD community. Run by top notch professionals and a team of skilled, career study students at North Penn High School, North Penn Television is the immediate source for school closings and delays, as well as tons of school district information. Most recorded events are broadcast on NPTV's cable channel and posted on YouTube the following day, including NPSD Board of School Directors’ meetings.
NP ADvantage Program
The NP ADvantage Advertising Program provides businesses and organizations the opportunity to share their message to community members through a variety of innovative advertising locations, media and prices throughout the district. Advertising revenue generated supports North Penn students by helping to fund their academic needs.

Community Education Program
Since 1968, the NPSD Community Education Program (CEP) has offered a variety of learning and recreational experiences for people of all ages during its fall, winter and spring terms. Summer camp programs for children are also available.

Volunteer Program
More than 600 community residents are regular volunteers in North Penn schools. There are new jobs where volunteers are needed.
